Further your skills as as diver with this course that will guide you through 5 different adventure dives! Improve buoyancy, work on navigation, learn about wrecks and become a better diver!
This course does require attending our Alex Bay Drive & Dive Trip, which you will be registered for a discounted rate.
You must also have or rent all your dive equipment with the exception of tanks and weights. We provide these rentals at a discounted rate for courses & trips.

It's time to improve your dive skills!
Whether you are just finished your Open Water Diver course or got certified a couple years ago, it is worth getting your Advanced certification. This course will teach about going to deeper depths, work on navigation skills, improve your buoyancy and more! Upon completion you will be certified to dive up to 100ft anywhere in the world.
The PADI Advanced Open Water certification course consists of two pieces.
Academics - eLearning completed on your own ahead of time and discussed at the dive site.
Open Water Dives - 5 dives completed over the course of a weekend.
A Weekend Away
In order to get you to the 100ft you will be certified for, our advanced course takes place on a weekend trip to Alexandria Bay. This means that you will also get to go out on a boat and dive on some wrecks!
Our Alex Bay Drive & Dive Trip includes a weekend in the Thousand Islands, 2 boats dives, 3 shore dives, all tanks/airfills and weights. By signing up for the Advanced Open Water course, you will get a discount on the trip.
Last things to know before signing up
Prerequisites
You must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent in order to take this course. You will need to get clearance on a medical form in order to participate in the training. The form can be downloaded below.
Additional Costs
Equipment - For all courses after Open Water, you are responsible for providing all the gear required to dive. We do offer special course discounts on a rental gear package for the Advanced Open Water course.
Transportation - You have to get yourself to the location at the expected time, we are happy to help coordinate car pooling.
